A small action can go a long way.
About a week ago , Jason Pereira from theuniversitykid.com contacted me from Entrecard in order to know if I was interested in sponsoring one of his contest.
Of course , I normally don’t do anything unless I get something worthwhile in return but when I knew that the contestants had to post the list of prizes containing a link to the sponsor in order to gain more entries for the event , I couldn’t pass up.
The rewards I offered:
1000 Entrecard credits
A free 125×125 banner for a month , a free text link ad on Neotrepreneur and a Free review on this blog.
A free 30 min consultation about any online venture’s questions you had.
If you noticed , all these rewards do not ask me for any investment except for my time( and God knows I got lots of that.)
Results:
My technorati rating is 54 and I have a rank of 140k which is approximatively half of what it used to be before the contest.
P.s: Technorati is important for It used as a pricing guideline for Sponsored Reviews.
The morale:
When you are asked to give out free stuff , always look for the possible benefits of doing so.

Giving is the only way to recieve strangely enough. I read a very interesting book about “The Law of Giving”…actually I wrote a post about it on my other site itmightbelove.com…a little does go a long way. Time is a great way to give
