My SEO paid off. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Remember my Naruto Shippuden site?
Well I am proud to say that after all my goddamn laziness , I managed to get it to second position on the first page of Google.
( Wikipedia doesn’t count though. I hate those mangy bastards . They rank first for almost any general term)
I went from page 2 last result to page 1 second result all by working 20 mins tweaking my Meta Title and doing some social bookmarking.
Results are :
Went from 50 uniques a day to a stable 800 UVs. I guess I was wrong sometimes search engine traffic really is better.
I’m currently averaging 1.50$ a day by a combination of adsense and Paypopup and I’m trying to get accepted in Zangocash to diversify my income. ( I know that Zango is a bit unethical but for now , I’m looking to see if I can make hundreds from the Pay Per Install network).
After a month or two, I will probably sell the website for 12x monthly revenue which should net me in the 500$ range and since I had success with these sort of projects , I am thinking of releasing an ebook on how to create your own embed video website.
In the next days , I’m going to make a detailled post on how to monetize the ”annoying”popups and how I managed to move up the SERPS.
So I suggest you suscribe to my rss feed for more updates in the futur.

800+ visitors per day and only $1.50 from adsense? I think I still have a long way to go to start earning real money, sigh

BobbyT: There’s more to AdSense than just putting code on your page… a lot has to do with where it is placed - are the ads in a position where the user will see them each time, like near the top of the post for instance, or are they off to the side or at the bottom of the page out of the way?

There’s a lot of e’s in the title of this post
I hate how Wikipedia gets in the top for everything too. Though sometimes it is nice because i am looking for a quick wikipedia article and glad it’s there but usually if i want to know something like that i go directly to wikipedia’s site and use their search box. It is kind of like searching on yahoo for dogpille to search for something else…
Congrats on your site though!

I got a question with Paypopup. How is your earnings with that? 800 visits for $1.50 dollars? I only get 70 to 100 visits but I earn $3 a day in the least. I can’t wait to hear more tips from you.

I recently dropped Paypopup for Zangocash which is giving me much higher earnings. Currently about 5 to 10$ a day on autopilot.
