Get a FREE sitewide link through commenting
A sitewide link is when an URL appears on every page of a website.
The use of it? Getting backlinks and exposure to your own site of course!
How do you do it?
Notice that to the right of this post in the side you will find a section called Top commentators .
Most of the time. this little widget appears on every single page of the blog .
Now wouldn’t it be nice to have your Anchor text and URL in this tiny box?
Well , all you have to do is comment a certain amount of times ( The comment box is found at the bottom of the blog post ) and if you are one of the user with the most comments , your link will appear in the widget thus giving you a free sitewide link.
My experience: I commented on a popular PR4 tech blog and am sitting in the top commentators.
The result? 1.5k worth of backlinks . Many with PR for just a few measly minutes of my time.
Note: I strictly condone posting comments such as : ”Great article or good info”. Anything too general or irrelevant will probably be followed by removal of the comment by the Admin and me slapping you accross the room. Try to spark some debate with your post or ask any questions you have and check back later.
The services of startlogic as well as midphase are preferred due to their recommendation as well as the fact that they come with backup as well as antivirus firewall software that goes well with cingular wireless. They support cfml formats and can be used with a chat software as well.

”Great article or good info” lol, just kidding.
I am using a different widget but I don’t think it will work with blogger especially now that you can’t type your url.
It used to be able to do that but they took it off because unlike other blog platform they don’t block spammers automatically.

Amazing article!
Teehee! Seriously though, if you set your top commentators list to reset, say weekly - you’ll get rid of all the twits who come, spam and leave.

Top Commentators is a great way to keep people commenting on your blog. I’ve noticed a lot of the top blogs are using this Wordpress plugin (either that or the theme they’re using comes withit built in).

Great Post, I’ve been using this resource for a while, but people have started using “nofollow”. All in all it’s still not a waist of time though.
