Why having a subdomain is pathetic for a Money Making Blog.
Immerse yourself into my mind and image this:
You are trying to talk about money making so you can :
1.Make money through ad sales once you have a decent PR.
2.Get some people to signup under you as referral for your favorite and most lucrative programs.
or
3.Hope you can make moolah through affiliate marketing.
4. Just want to share your experience
Do you actually think anyone even remotely informed about earning money online will take you seriously if you don’t even have enough revenue to buy a domain and cheap hosting like Hostgator ?
It would be like a greasy fat and bald 40-year old virgin was telling me how to become a sex machine and fit in 2 weeks.
Get my point?
Subdomains like blogger or wordpress.com are bad because:
a) They harm your reputation as a making money online blog.
b) Aren’t easily customisable.
c) They can get hacked ( Google blogger blogs once got attacked by a massive force of hackers )
So if you want to make a blog like this one, head over to Triple.com , buy a domain of your choice and buy some reliable hosting .
Note: I have seen some decent blogs on blogger but i never cared to come back for them because their skin sucked or their url was just too plain too long to type ( My bookmarking list is way too big >_>)

LOL, so true! I always tell this to people, but they just simply don’t understand. A LONG domain would be a hell of a lot better than using a free subdomain URL. You work hard building backlinks and stuff for a domain that isn’t even owned by you. If you decide to shut down the blog, you can at least reap parking benefits if you own the domain!
