Increase your adsense CTR ( Click Through Rate)
As most of you that are used to adsense know increasing your CTR is vital to get more revenue on your website.
If you are a Google adsense newbie, CTR is basically the percentage of clicks you get for a certain number of ad impressions.
Here are some simple pointers that anyone can put to good use to increase Click Through Rate.
1. Blend your adsense into the background so that your ads do not stand out like a sore thumb.
2. Place your advertisements near the top of a page so viewers can see it without even scrolling down. It has been reported that placing ads at the bottom have significantly lowered CTR.
3. Make it seem that your ad block are part of your content by placing them near the text and giving it the same font and color as the rest of your site.
